TYROSINE [TYROSINE]

Tyrosine is a non-essential amino acid used by the body to synthesize melanin, the chemical that gives the skin colour and the natural protection against the sunrays. Tyrosine is added to several sunscreens for tanning the skin while at the same time providing protection from damaging UV rays.
