Alternative methods to animal testing

The issue of animal testing is a key consumer concern. Valérie Michaut, L’Oréal’s International Director of Alternative Methods and Reconstructed Skins, explains how the group no longer tests any of its products or ingredients on animals and has not done so for 14 years, long before the regulations were put in place. Since 1979, L'Oréal has been working on alternative methods to animal testing to assess the safety of ingredients and products.
