METHYLENE BIS-BENZOTRIAZOLYL TETRAMETHYLBUTYLPHENOL [METHYLENE BIS-BENZOTRIAZOLYL TETRAMETHYLBUTYLPHENOL]

Methylene bis-benzotriazolyl tetramethylbutylphenol is commonly used in sunscreens to help protect the skin against skin cancer and signs of ageing by both absorbing and scattering UVB and UVA rays.

It has photo-protective effects in formulas but is not very soluble: Polyglyceryl-10 laurate is therefore added to help solubilize it and stabilize the final product.
