ISOCETYL STEARATE [ISOCETYL STEARATE]
Isocetyl stearate is an ester of isocetyl alcohol and stearic acid and is used in a variety of cosmetics and personal care products such as bronzer and skincare creams. It is known to hydrate the skin by forming a thin coating on it that prevents moisture loss. When used in pressed powders it acts as a binder to hold the different ingredients together in a desired texture.
